This historic and important residential property in the heart of Belgravia, 119 Ebury Street is the first ever listed building in the UK to achieve BREEAM Outstanding for proposed Design and Delivery.








Embracing Green Technology

Embracing the latest green building technologies and innovations the aim was to achieve 80% carbon reduction whilst maintaining the historic fabric of the Grade II Listed Georgian property. As a construction partner, our task was to realise the clients vision in a sympathetic manner, revitalising 119 for the future and setting a benchmark in construction skills and processes for future sustainable retrofit residential schemes.

Fit for the Future

In tandem with 119 Ebury Street,  Grangewood were also appointed as framework contractor for the refurbishment of 125 Ebury Street, where  specialist performance monitoring equipment was installed throughout the property allowing for simultaneous monitoring and comparisons to be carried out.

This is part of a two-year post occupancy monitoring programme and will be used to allow a thorough understanding of the measures employed and help to guide all future refurbishment projects by sharing with local authorities and statutory bodies.
